E70 Tip for PT-A, PT-B and PT-E | Ultrasonic Endodontic Irrigation

The Woodpecker E70 (ED70 / EK70) is an endochuck designed for the installation of E71, E72, E73 or E74 tips, indicated for ultrasonic root canal irrigation following canal preparation.

It is compatible with Woodpecker PT-A, PT-B and PT-E units, which combine air polishing and ultrasonic functions in a single device. The E70 operates specifically in E mode (endodontic ultrasonic mode), with a recommended power level of 1 to 3, ensuring controlled and effective irrigation of the root canal system.

The working part is made of a non-cutting polymer material, preventing alteration of root canal morphology and reducing the risk of structural damage. Its design also minimizes instrument separation, ensuring a safer clinical procedure.

Recommended protocol

1. Insert the tip into the canal, ensuring the presence of irrigant solution.

2. Activate the device in E mode.

3. Move the tip gently up and down within a small range, keeping the tip end below the canal orifice.

4. After 20 seconds, stop and clean the canal.

Typically, 3 cycles of 20 seconds per canal are recommended.

One tip may be used for up to 6 root canals.
