Technical characteristics

BIOBank is a French tissue bank authorized by the ANSM (French National Agency for the Safety of Medicines and Health Products), specializing in the preservation, processing, and distribution of allogeneic bone grafts.

BIOBank corticocancellous bone granules are indicated for bone regeneration procedures in dentistry, such as peri-implant grafts, post-extraction defect filling, cysts, angular defects due to periodontal disease, sinus lifts, or alveolar ridge augmentation, among others.

The grafts are sourced exclusively from femoral heads of living donors in France, ensuring high-level traceability and sanitary control. The bone structure is rendered inert through a patented treatment using CO₂ in its supercritical state, which is recognized as one of the most effective methods to:

Preserve the mechanical properties of the bone matrix
Ensure optimal hydrophilicity
Guarantee a high level of viral safety and sterility

Thanks to this technology, the graft maintains the integrity of the original volume and its biomechanical properties, ensuring optimal clinical performance and predictability in bone regeneration treatments.
